Booking

How do I book?

Check your ZIP code, choose a home cleaner, a housekeeper or both, set your team and hours, pick how often, then your preferred day and start time. Add your address and pay. We confirm your team the same day, often within 2 hours. Requests after 6 PM are confirmed the next morning.

How far ahead can I book?

From tomorrow, up to 7 days ahead. Same-day visits aren’t available yet.

What if you can’t make my time?

We’ll offer you another time. If none suits you, we refund you in full.

What times can I book?

Visits start at 8:00 AM, 11:30 AM or 3:00 PM, seven days a week, and finish by 6 PM. Visits are 3 to 8 hours.

Which areas do you serve?

24 ZIP codes across Manhattan: Midtown West and Hell’s Kitchen; Chelsea, Flatiron, Greenwich Village, East Village, SoHo, West Village and Tribeca; Midtown East and Murray Hill; the Upper West Side and Harlem; and the Upper East Side and East Harlem. Outside these, check your ZIP and join the waitlist, and we’ll tell you when we arrive.

Do I need an account?

No. You book as a guest and manage your booking from your confirmation email. [Confirm: account or sign-in link for regular customers]

Pricing and payment

How much does it cost?

Home cleaners are $55 an hour and housekeepers $49 an hour, per person, with a 3-hour minimum. One cleaner for 3 hours is $165. Add hours in 1-hour steps up to 8, and book up to 10 people, depending on who’s free.

Are there discounts for regular visits?

Not at the moment. The hourly rates are the same for every visit.

When am I charged?

For a one-off visit, in full when you book. For regular visits, the first visit is charged when you book and each later visit is charged to your saved card the day before it.

How can I pay?

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Is sales tax included?

[Confirm with your accountant whether New York sales tax applies, and how it shows at checkout.]

Should I tip?

[Confirm tipping policy.]

Cancellations and changes

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes, free, up to 4 hours before your start time.

What if I cancel later than that?

You get 50% back. For one cleaner for 3 hours, that’s $82.50.

How do refunds work?

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. [Confirm: how long refunds usually take to arrive]

What if my cleaner or housekeeper can’t make it?

[Confirm: how we tell you, and whether we send someone else or refund in full.]

Regular visits

How do regular visits work?

Pick weekly, bi-weekly or monthly when you book. Visits repeat on the same day and time: every week, every other week, or every 4 weeks.

Can I pause, skip or cancel?

Yes, anytime. The 4-hour rule applies to each visit. [Confirm: how customers pause or skip]

Will I get the same person each time?

[Confirm policy.]

The visit

Do I need to be home?

No. When you book, tell us how to get in: you’ll be home, a doorman, a gate code, a lockbox or a keypad code.

What do they bring?

Home cleaners bring their own equipment and cleaning products. Housekeepers use your supplies, and bring a duster, cloth wipes and a portable broom.

What isn’t included?

Childcare, pet care, elderly care, and cooking or food prep.

Can I have pets at home?

Yes. Tell us when you book so your cleaner or housekeeper knows what to expect. We don’t look after pets.

What if I need more time?

Add hours when you book, in 1-hour steps up to 8 hours, or add more people. You can also tell us where to start, and they’ll work through that first. [Confirm: whether a visit can be extended on the day]

Errands

Which errands can a housekeeper run?

Pickups like a grocery order or dry cleaning, on foot within about 1.2 miles (2 km), inside your visit. Home cleaners don’t run errands.

How are errands paid for?

Everything must be paid for ahead, like an online order ready for pickup or a prepaid ticket. Housekeepers never use their own money or handle your cash or cards.

Safety, insurance and guarantees

How do you vet cleaners and housekeepers?

Every person goes through our checks before their first visit. See our vetting and hiring policy.

Are you insured?

[Confirm: coverage and limits.]

What if something is damaged or missing?

[Confirm: how to report it and how claims work.]

Is there a satisfaction guarantee?

We don’t offer a re-clean guarantee yet. If something isn’t right, tell us at vitvelasquez@getkleanph.com. [Confirm: what we do next]

Are my access codes safe?

Gate, lockbox and keypad codes are stored encrypted and shown only to your assigned team, once they check in on the day of your visit. They never appear in emails.
